Annie is a strategic content and digital marketer with a passion for technology. She’s run content and SEO for SaaS companies like Textel, Sharpen and Sigstr. She’s also produced content for Huntington Post, MarketingProfs, CMO.com, Martech Advisor, Forbes, Convince & Convert and Salesforce.

After (more than) a decade of trying out different roles in media and marketing, watching a few more “find your passion” keynotes than I’d care to admit, and spending too many late nights wide awake researching new tactics for SEO and content absorption, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m really only good at two things: Creating great content. And getting it out into the world.

My professional history details a story of results-driven growth and integration into content, marketing and strategy. I was the first web editor at the Indiana Statesman after lobbying for the creation of a student-led web development team, prior to earning a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. I’ve continued to push my limits to remain at the forefront of the multifaceted world of marketing and strategy. Through experience writing for advertising, broadcasting and journalism, I’ve honed my editorial chops while adapting to the many voices of marketing.

I laid the foundation for the content department at Sigstr (acquired by Terminus). while there, I drafted the content road map and architecture, built the digital strategy and implemented a social media strategy. Under my direction, the content department generated a 33% increase in annual recurring revenue.

When I moved to Sharpen, I built the go-to-market strategy for enterprise sales. Together with my automations counterpart and an incredibly encouraging supervisor, my team saw our average conversion rates increase by 91%. We had a 15x growth in our landing page conversion and sourced 27% of closed-won business.

Experience has taught me my professional value boils down to:
